Mogens has 25 years of experience in advising on legal matters relating to general business law, especially on matters concerning intellectual property law, good marketing practice and competition law. Mogens has been with Zacco since 2004. Mogens is specialised in conflict resolution, including litigation, arbitration and mediation, as well as in negotiation and drafting of license agreements and other international contracts.

Mogens holds a Master of Law from the University of Aarhus (1983) and from the University of San Diego, USA (1987). He obtained the right to appear in the Danish High Courts in 1988 and in the Danish Supreme Court in 1993. He was temporarily a judge in the Danish High Court in 1998/99.

Mogens is appointed by International Trademark Association (INTA) to its Panel of Neutrals (mediator in conflicts relating to intellectual property rights) and he is a member of the Danish Mediation Institute.

For a decade, Mogens was an adjunct professor at the University of Aarhus in international business transactions and he lectures and trains, on a regular basis, mediators in courses offered by the Danish Bar and Law Society and lectures IP contracts and IP conflict resolution in courses offered by the Danish Patent and Trademark Office.
