Hans Blomberg – Chairman
Hans Blomberg is a partner in Eterna, one of Zacco's investors. Hans has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on electrical engineering from the Linköping Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Hans was one of the founders of European Equity Partners (EEP) a venture capital fund within technology and healthcare. Before that he worked with merger & acquisitions at Merril Lynch.
Bengt Domeij is professor of private law at Uppsala University, since the year 2010. Before 2010 Domeij was for 10 years associate professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In the years 2013 to 2015 Domeij was an expert in the Swedish governmental committee tasked with proposing a new Swedish Patent Act (SOU 2015:41) and making the necessary changes for implementation in Swedish law of the unitary patent. In addition to his academic and governmental appointments, Domeij is consulted by parties involved in legal disputes in the fields of patents, trade secrets and licensing.
Stefan Ölander is a former Marketing Director within both the Scandinavian bank SEB and the Kinnevik investment group. Stefan is also the founder of Rewir, Sweden’s leading branding agency. His breadth of experience in branding, sales and communication provide invaluable expertise in his role as board member. Stefan Ölander is furthermore one of Zacco's investors.
Reinhold Geijer holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics and has worked in the banking sector for more than 30 years. He has worked as the CEO of RBS Royal Bank of Scotland Nordic plc including CEO of Nordisk Renting AB and the CEO of Föreningssparbanken (todays Swedbank Group) as well as the CFO of Telia. Furthermore he has held positions at Ericsson Mobile Telephone Systems, SSAB Swedish Steel and Weyerhaeuser Integrated Forest Co in USA. He is a member of the board of the directors at British Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Swedish American Foundation, Foreign Bankers Association, BTS Group (Chairman) and Skandia.
Kristin Kjærheim Astrup
Kristin Kjærheim Astrup is an Attorney at Law and Partner at Zacco. She is also team leader for the Trademark team in ZNO. She has several years of experience within IP and corporate law. Kristin works primarily with disputes regarding infringement of intellectual property rights, media- and entertainment law and unfair competition. She has experience with preparation and negotiation of coexistence-, license- and associated agreements, as well as performing due diligence on intellectual property rights in connection with transactions. Prior to joining Zacco Kristin came from a position as attorney at law at Thommesen law firm. She worked out of Thommessen’s IP department, and with a special responsibility for developing their trademark business. She has also served as deputy judge at Oslo district court.
Åsa Gustafson, a Certified IP Administrator and Partner at Zacco, has experience from all aspects of handling all formalities and strategic work in all type of patent cases. She works with administration in large Key accounts which includes strategic work and IP portfolio structure and management. She has also been involved in many internal projects with regard to our daily operation systems and streamline working. Åsa is the team manager for the Telecom and Physics team in Stockholm. Before joining Zacco she worked for The Swedish Patent and Registration Office for 1 year.
Prior to joining Zacco in 2006, Casper worked as a Research Chemist for the biotech company PreciSense A/S, as part of a team developing sensor chemistry for a minimally invasive blood-glucose monitor. He is the inventor on three patents/applications on this technology. Casper has substantial experience in complex and technically complicated cases. Casper's prosecution work is mainly before the European Patent Office, but also includes domestic prosecution. He has special knowledge in the field of supplementary protection certificates for medicinal products and SPC extensions based on the paediatric regulation. Casper holds a Master of Science in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Copenhagen, where he worked with the synthesis and characterization of oxidation products from copper amine oxidase and coauthored three peer- reviewed publications in this field.
