Patent Attorney to Aarhus

Zacco is continuously expanding and to meet our clients’ needs we would like to expand our team in Aarhus with an experienced patent attorney within the mechanics, physics, electronics, computer science related fields. Zacco takes an important role in helping our clients protecting their intangible assets. We take a broader perspective on IPR and thus expand our opportunities to cross-discipline services to ensure we stay relevant to the evolving technical landscape.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2- 3 years of work experience in the patent field to join our office in Aarhus of in total about 12 highly skilled and experienced consultants and Paralegals in different IPR fields.


The job:
As a Patent Attorney you will work closely with our clients and our Paralegals to provide high quality support for our clients within the patent area.


Your main tasks include:

  • Providing a business understanding of patent for your clients
  • Streamlining strategies and prosecution according to client needs
  • Invention harvesting workshops with R&D staff of clients
  • Drafting patent application and supporting over the entire patent life cycle
  • Performing freedom-to-operate analyses
  • Interacting and maintaining a close collaboration with the clients


Our expectations:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as patent attorney
  • Preferably you are a qualified Patent Attorney, for instance a European Patent Attorney or has the drive and interest to obtain such a qualification
  • Fluent in English and Danish
  • Team player
  • At least Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, physics, electronics or computer science related fields
