Acting technical judge for IP matters at the Copenhagen Commercial & Maritime Court and at Denmark’s Eastern Appeal Court. Thomas started his IP career in 1988 and is especially skilled in European and US patent prosecution matters, as well as in design registration cases. He has gained much experience in prosecuting cases before the EPO opposition and appeal boards and is also regularly involved in patent infringement litigation and in patent licensing matters.
Thomas has special technical knowledge within the fields of oil drilling technology, packaging, conveying systems, medical devices, agricultural implements, shipbuilding, household equipment and building materials. During his career Thomas has represented numerous prestigious international clients, such as MAN, FMC Inc., Scandinavian Airlines A/S, Convatec/Unomedical A/S, Maersk/A.P. Møller A/S, Eva Solo A/S, Rockwool International A/S, Icopal A/S, Jorgen Kruuse A/S, Superfos Packaging A/S, Fritz Hansen A/S, Louis Poulsen Lighting A/S and Hardi International A/S.
