Karin Bergetun

Karin joined Zacco in 2007. She works primarily as a trademark attorney responsible for trademark prosecution, opposition, cancellation and infringement matters as well as other legal matters within the IP field.

Karin has over 20 years of experience in the area of intellectual property rights, starting out as an examiner of company names at the Swedish Companies Registration Office. She has also worked as a law clerk at a district court and as an attorney at law at the IP firm Valea AB. In addition she has worked with trademark matters at the IP department of the pharmaceutical company Glaxo SmithKline in London.

She holds a Master of Law degree from Uppsala University, 1988.
