Sindre Fossum

Sindre has worked with IP since 2012 when he first joined Zacco. Prior to joining Zacco, Sindre had worked for 7 years with product development within various industries. He has extensive experience with developing both low and high volume products, from concept phase to production. He is also skilled in CAD and FEM-analyses.

Sindre advises clients on strategic patenting issues and deals with all matters relating to patenting such as searches, patent drafting, prosecution, infringement analyses and oppositions. His technical expertise lies primarily in the mechanical field of technology, with a keen interest in vehicles both airborne, on land and at sea.

Sindre graduated with a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Design and Materials from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in 2005, specializing in product development with a master’s thesis in “Design Optimization of Sports Car”.

In 2021 and 2022, Sindre worked as a Patent Attorney at another IP firm. He joined Zacco again in 2022.
