About Peder Bylander
Peder Bylander joined Zacco in 2026 and works with a broad range of IP activities, such as patent drafting, patentability assessments, Freedom-to-Operate analyses, patent portfolio strategy management, IP strategy, and patent valuations. Peder is also part of Zacco’s commercial team.
He graduated in 2003 with an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping Institute of Technology focusing on computer science and ERP systems. He has also studied engineering in France, and wrote his master’s thesis in Singapore.
After having worked in the UK within the management consulting industry for some years, he returned to Sweden and started at the quasi-governmental ALMI Företagspartner as a business and technical advisor. Since 2012 he has worked within the IP domain, both at two other IP consultancies and in an in-house role within the autonomous systems industry.
Peder has in particular a strong interest in software-implemented inventions from a patent perspective. He has since graduation co-founded two software ventures, which has provided a thorough insight into software development processes, but also in raising capital for technology start-ups.
