Kristine joined Zacco in 2016 and is the head of the Norwegian legal team. She holds strong experience in managing, protecting and enforcing trademarks, design, patents and copyright. She also has extensive experience in the field of unfair competition. Kristine identifies and manages intellectual property with the aim of realizing and sustaining the competitive advantage that intellectual property provides.
Kristine is a part of the litigation team and a well-experienced litigator before both lower and higher courts. She has successfully managed effective pre-trial, arbitration, mediation and trial strategies to oversee case handling and settlement negotiations for a variety of matters. Kristine is a legal innovator who keeps pace with market trends driven by digitalization, decentralized business models, and the platform economy. Her visionary strategies consider emerging risks and opportunities for her clients, as the role and value of intellectual property continue to develop rapidly.
Her client list spans a broad spectrum of industrial sectors, and she has worked actively to protect and enforce the intellectual property rights of large companies both in Norway and on an international basis. Kristine received her law degree from the University of Oslo and New York University (NYU).
