Tone started in the Trademark Division of Zacco in 2000, working with intellectual property rights and related areas, with major emphasis on trademark law. She also assists with legal problems and conflicts, as well as matters relating to company and marketing law.
From 1992 to 1995 Tone worked as an examiner and senior examiner with the Trademark and Design Department at the Norwegian Patent Office. From 1995 to 2000 she worked as a lawyer at Oslo Patentkontor AS.
Tone graduated with a Law Degree (Cand. Jur.) from the University of Oslo in 1991, with copyright as her elective subject and trademark rights as her specialization. She has completed a number of courses in Norwegian and international intellectual property rights.
Tone is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association, the Association of Norwegian Patent Agents, NIR, FICPI, AIPPI and INTA.
She is also featured as a Recommended Individual in the WTR 1000 by the World Trademark Review.
