Elmin has worked within the field of IP since his graduation from Chalmers University of Technology in 2014, and joined Zacco in 2018 as Partner and European Patent Attorney. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Nanotechnology.
He works with a wide range of patent related matters and represents clients within different technical fields but mainly within electrical and mechanical engineering. However, he has specific experience within the fields of electric power engineering, wireless communication technologies, automotive technology, and software-related technologies.
Prior to joining Zacco, Elmin worked as a patent attorney at another IP company where his work involved drafting and prosecuting patent applications, freedom-to-operate analyses, infringement analyses, validity analyses, oppositions, etc. He also worked with strategic IP work in that he helped both larger multi-national corporations and smaller companies to form and implement a business focused IP strategy by for example bridging the gap between various business functions and their IP operations in order to increase the value of their IP and business in general.
He is an authorized European Patent Attorney (EPA) and member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi). Furthermore, Elmin often holds lectures for clients and associations regarding IP.
