About Jenny Carlsson
Jenny joined Zacco in 2019 and has worked with IP since 2008. She is a European Patent Attorney and an Authorized Patent Attorney (Sweden).
Jenny works primarily with drafting and prosecution of patent applications and strategic counselling in IP matters in the fields of life science, medtech, chemistry and mechanics for national and international clients.  This includes performing novelty searches, assessment of patentability, invention evaluations and advice on patent strategies in close collaboration with her clients. Jenny also has experience as in-house counsel for a large manufacturing company, where she was a key link between R&D and IP aspects for a product line.
She holds a M.Sc. in Engineering Biology and a PhD in Applied Physics from Linköping University. The research was a multidisciplinary project within the area of type 1 diabetes and involved areas such as surface physics/chemistry, biomolecular interactions, multivariate data analysis and optical biosensors. Prior to joining Zacco, Jenny worked at two other private practice IP firms.
Jenny is a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI).
