Judith Albers

Judith is a German Attorney at Law (Rechtsanwältin) and qualified as Certified IP-Lawyer (Fachanwältin für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz). Her focus at Zacco is on IP litigation concerning infringement of trademarks, designs and domains. She also advises on other legal matters relating to intellectual property law and unfair competition law. Moreover, she is experienced in application proceedings for trademarks and its oppositions and invalidity proceedings. Apart from intellectual property law, Judith has experience in all aspects of German civil law. Judith studied in The Hague and Göttingen.

She graduated from Göttingen University in 2012 and spent her legal in-service training preceding the second state examination, among others, with the State Media Authority of Bremen and specialised IP lawyers. Furthermore, she passed an internship at the legal department of the public broadcasting organization of the state Bremen (Radio Bremen).

Besides German, Judith speaks English fluently and she has working knowledge in French.

Judith is a voluntary examiner for law at the Chamber of Industry and Trade in Oldenburg (Industrie- und Handelskammer Oldenburg). She is a member of the German lawyers associations “Deutscher Anwaltsverein” and “FORUM Junge Anwaltschaft”.
