Signe joined Zacco in 2016 as a trainee patent attorney within the field of mechanics.
Prior to joining Zacco, Signe studied physics at the University of Copenhagen and later at University College Dublin. Through her university training she specialized within the fields of optics, photonics, plasmonics, spectroscopy and microscopy. Signe graduated from University College Dublin in 2015 with a PhD degree in applied physics. Her research involved studying light-matter interactions on the nanoscale for applications as chemical sensors and within medical imaging and diagnostics. She has a special expertise within enhanced Raman and fluorescence spectroscopy using plasmonically active metallic nanomaterials.
In 2019, she was ranked by Managing Intellectual Property as a Rising Star.
