Teija Rasch is an authorized Swedish Patent Attorney and a qualified European Patent Attorney. Teija joined Zacco in 2007. She has worked with patents since 1998, first as an Examiner at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office and later as a Patent Counsel at Eka Chemicals within the field of paper making chemicals. Teija is also frequently engaged as a lecturer at IP-Akademin.
Teija works with all kinds of patent matters, such as drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications, drafting and filing oppositions, freedom to operate investigations, infringement analysis, due diligence investigations and advising in patent strategies. Teija has long experience of working with the technical fields of mechanics in general, process technology such as papermaking and pulping technology, printing technology, packaging technology, absorbent products and nonwoven textiles, separation techniques, high voltage cable technology including cable construction and materials, vehicles and especially fuel systems and purification technology for exhaust gases.
Teija graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland, in 1995. She has a Master of Science-degree in Wood Processing Technology from the Faculty of Process Technology and Materials Science. Before entering the field of patents, Teija worked as a mailroom manager in a newspaper printing house in Finland. In 1995 she also worked with product development and research in environmental technology in connection with her Master’s thesis.
Teija is a member of the Association of IP Professionals in Swedish Industry (SIPF) and the European Patent Institute EPI.
