About Cameron Walker
Cameron is qualified both as a Chartered UK Patent Attorney and as a European Patent Attorney.
He joined Zacco in 2020, after having worked for a large UK-based IP firm in Aberdeen, Scotland, and today provides advice and assistance principally in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications. Since starting his career in the IP industry, Cameron gained valuable experience working with technologies relating to the Oil & Gas industry, and has worked with several large service providers in the sector. In addition, Cameron also has expertise in other areas, such as in renewable energy and automotive technologies.
Prior to qualification as a Patent Attorney, Cameron studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, where he was awarded a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with distinction. During this time, Cameron was selected for participation in two internship programmes: one with a large UK-based oil & gas operator, and one with an international automotive manufacturer. In addition, Cameron completed one year of his studies at the engineering school of INSA de Lyon
, in France.
