Axel joined Zacco in 2025 as a Trainee Patent Attorney. He holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Uppsala University (2025), where he specialized in Material Science.
With a strong technical foundation in chemistry, Axel possesses specialized knowledge in batteries and energy storage. His master’s thesis focused on surface treatments of NMC-cathode materials. Axel also spent a year at Freie Universität Berlin, where he studied German and courses on catalysts. Prior to joining Zacco, Axel gained practical industry experience working with a company which specialises at acid management in the steel sector. His professional interests encompass all things chemistry and material science, with a particular focus on battery technology.
