Antti joined Zacco in 2024 and works as an Associate Patent Attorney. He holds a PhD in experimental quantum physics from Lund University in Sweden and an MSc in Engineering Physics from Aalto University in Finland.
At Zacco, Antti works in close collaboration with colleagues, applying his background and expertise in complex areas of science to the development of emerging technological fields including quantum computing and communication and nanotechnology. In the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications, his knowledge of experimental physics is complemented by extensive experience within data analysis and the simulation of physical systems.
Prior to joining the field of IP, he gained five years of research experience as a PhD student in quantum and semiconductor physics and nanotechnology, specialising in nanofabrication, electronic devices and measurement technology. During his research, he was responsible for designing, fabricating and characterising quantum devices including charge qubits coupled to microwave resonators.
Antti holds an interest in all areas of emerging technology but reserves a special place for the development and protection of quantum-related inventions.
