Stephanie Thomas

Stephanie has been a member of the Zacco UK team since 2023. She is a European Patent Attorney with over ten years of experience in both UK and European patent practice. Stephanie holds a Masters in Physics from the University of Birmingham. Much like her degree which spanned a broad technical spectrum, from atomic physics to astrophysics, she has drafted and prosecuted patent applications across a wide range of technologies, from everyday household solutions (such as a novel zipper) to more high tech inventions including IoT and digital communications, software-implemented inventions including machine learning, as well as laser propulsion and even a jet pack.

Stephanie works with clients locally, based in the West Midlands, as well as multinational corporations and her favourite part about the role is diving into a new area of technology to learn from an inventor about their proud achievements.

Stephanie is also a member of Zacco’s Design team, with focus on UK Registered Design filings.
