Ulrikke joined Zacco in 2024 as a patent attorney trainee in the field of life sciences, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. She has extensive experience as a scientist in academia and as a scientific project manager for a consulting research organization focused on value creation and market access of pharmaceuticals in the Nordics.
Ulrikke graduated with a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen in 2007. During 2010 and 2014, she completed her Ph.D. studies at Lund University in the field of experimental medicine with a focus on diabetes and neurogastroenterology. After a post-doctoral period at Lund University and research stays at leading research institutions, she worked as a lecturer in physiology at the University of Oslo before joining a consulting research organization, where she supported clients in reaching the Nordic pharmaceutical market.
Ulrikke has a strong interest in emerging technologies within the life sciences. Her curiosity to understand how things work, combined with her broad scientific background covering the process from bench to bedside, allows her to understand and support clients’ needs.
Ulrikke has technical experience in lipid biology, food technology, cell biology, histology, neurobiology, gastroenterology, pharmaceuticals and human disease. She has published more than 25 peer-reviewed papers.
