Vera Håkansson

Vera started her IP career as a patent examiner at the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV), where she worked for almost four years with measurement and sensor technology, physics and optics. Vera joined Zacco in 2024 and works today with patent drafting, novelty and validity searches, and other patent-related tasks.

After leaving PRV, and before joining Zacco, Vera worked as a research engineer within electro-optics at the Swedish Defence Research Agency, participating in research related to night vision devices, hyperspectral cameras and optical turbulence.

Vera holds a degree of Master of Science in engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, with a B.Sc in biomedical engineering and a M.Sc in engineering physics.
