Zacco announces Karin Kärvling Søholt as new CMO, effective 1st December 2024

We are pleased to announce that Karin Kärvling Søholt has joined Zacco’s marketing and communications team as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1^st December 2024. With over 30 years of experience working within and alongside IP, Karin joined Zacco in 2022 and has been an integral part of growing our market presence.

Karin started her career as an international business lawyer but quickly moved into IP where she spent the next few years in private practice. It was here she discovered a talent for business development, becoming Sales Manager at the firm before co-founding her own business developing IP management software. Following the sale of the company to a global IP technology company, she headed up their Northern Europe Sales and then Strategic Alliances across Europe, before becoming Managing Director at an IP Service Provider. She then joined Zacco from a leading IP Management platform, where she was Global Head of Sales and Marketing. As part of Zacco’s Executive leadership team, she has been a Director since 2022.

“Karin has spent the last few years at Zacco advancing our commercial strategy and driving international alliances, but she has been working alongside us for almost 20 years now” says Antonio Marsico, CEO of Zacco. “She knows our clients, she knows our markets and she knows our business inside out, and I am looking forward to working with her and the marketing team to promote Zacco’s voice and expertise on a global stage.”
