Signe joined Zacco in 2007 and is working as an IP Paralegal. Her tasks include all types of Trademark and design administrative work, including application for and registration of trademarks worldwide and adminitrative issues arising in opposition matters. Signe is also super-user of Zacco Net and Zacco Net Premium and demonstrates the systems for Zacco’s new and potential clients as well as for Zacco’s own employees.
Signe is a European Trademark Attorney, holds a cand.mag. and an MA degree from the Universities of Copenhagen and Birmingham in Theatre Studies and English (Shakespeare Studies). From 1995-2007 she worked as proof-reader, translator and language advisor – Danish and English – in part as her own employer in part for various companies, including the University of Copenhagen and the publisher Museum Tusculanum where, among many other tasks, she also handled contracts and copyright issues.
In 2014, Signe became QTMA – Qualified Trademark Administrator, a title bestowed by DIFI (Dansk Institut for Immaterialretsuddannelse/Danish Institute for Intellectual Property Education), in the first class to graduate.
