Zacco wins Nordic Firm of the Year 2023 at the Managing IP Awards!

Zacco is proud to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious Nordic Firm of the Year (Patent and Trademark Attorney Firms) 2023 by Managing IP. Having previously received the Scandinavian Firm of the Year award four times between 2016 and 2022, being recognised as the Nordic Firm of the Year represents another notable milestone for Zacco, having come together recently with the OpSec Group.
The award covers a combination of patent, trademark, digital branding and domain expertise, with the researchers acknowledging the contribution that each of these made to their final decision. This recognises the increasing importance of bringing together digital and online protection of IP with traditional intellectual property areas of patents and trademarks. Zacco was one of the pioneers of this approach and an early adopter in taking this integrated portfolio to our customers.
For Zacco, claiming the top spot amongst a strong field of IP firms in the Nordic market represents a significant validation of our philosophy and model. It provides independent confirmation of our commitment to quality and our own ability to innovate, as well as the close collaboration we foster between our colleagues and our clients. The result was announced at the Managing IP EMEA Annual Awards, which were held in London on Wednesday 21st June. Attending the ceremony and accepting the award on behalf of Zacco were Mats Boström, General Manager of Zacco, and Karin Kärvling Søholt, Director of Strategic Alliances. They were joined at the event by Dr. Selva Selvaratnam, Chief Executive Officer of OpSec Group.
Following the event, Selva added, “I want to congratulate and thank all our new colleagues at Zacco. This is a great win for a highly talented team and is definitely well deserved. For me, this represents an external acknowledgement of what Zacco is already able to achieve and what we aspire to achieve together for both current and future customers and colleagues.”
