Therese Högberg appointed as new Group CFO

We are pleased to announce that Therese Högberg has been appointed as Group CFO from August.

Jonas has recently decided that he would like to explore some personal interests and has made the decision to step down from his role as CFO. Although we are sorry to see him go, we support his decision and truly appreciate his commitment and contribution to Zacco since joining us in 2014. Jonas has made a significant impact during his time here and we would like to thank him for everything he has accomplished, as well as wish him the very best of luck with his future endeavours.

As a result, We are pleased to announce that Therese Högberg has been appointed as Group CFO from August, bringing her extensive and impressive background of financial leadership expertise to Zacco. Joining us from a leading publicly listed digital signage firm, she has held Finance Manager and Group CFO positions within multiple international conglomerates, experience which will set her in the perfect position to lead the finance strategy of the organisation forward.

Throughout her career, Therese has quickly moved through the financial ranks as both group and financial controller for a range of industries including construction and materials, manufacturing, FMCG and digital signage. Therese has worked for multiple listed companies and she is ready to support Zacco on our mission to transform the IP industry. Her role will include laying the groundwork and ensuring the necessary financial structures are in place for scalable development. She has extensive expertise working with organisations as they experience rapid growth and this exposure will be invaluable in developing and implementing our forthcoming strategic initiatives.

Therese is looking forward to joining Zacco and believes that her new colleagues and our approach to 360º Intellectual Property are the cornerstone of our continued success. Intellectual Property and Cyber Security are both fascinating fields to be a part of, where human ingenuity is combined with technology, and she is excited to be joining a firm that remains at the forefront of innovation and development, both physically and digitally.

As Group CFO, Therese plans to cultivate the skills and impressive capability of the finance team to develop an effective and high performing group of colleagues who will work alongside her in supporting Zacco to become a true next generation IP Consultancy. She will be responsible for the general finance strategy of the organisation, expanding Zacco in line with our development plans and adapting to the changing needs of the global markets. Her comprehensive experience of leading multiple acquisitions will be integral to our plans for growth and expansion and, as part of the executive board, Therese will contribute her adept talent and extensive knowledge to Zacco’s general strategy development.
