Risk management is all about identifying risks connected to intellectual property assets. Having identified them, they are prioritised to determine the resources that need to be allocated to manage them.

A concern for every business

Whether or not you have an IP portfolio, IP risk management is relevant to you. An IP risk analysis can suggest which measures to implement to mitigate any detected IP risks. For patents, risk management can include Freedom To Operate analyses, FTO, to evaluate the relevance of patents and other disclosures found in a search and determine whether they can have any impact on your own commercial activities.
